What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
